Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN – Medical Surgical
Shift: Nights/ 7p-7:30a, 12×1, 12hrs per week
Length: 15 Weeks
Requirements:
- MO/Compact license
- 1 year minimum experience
- BLS
- Must have Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips is preferred
- Cerner preferred
Other Details:
- EMR: Cerner
- Locals are accepted
- Could float to would include but are not limited to tele or MS/Tele.
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
Requirements:
– 1 year minimum experience
– Active RN License
– BLS
– Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips is preferred
– 2 supervisor references, preferred from employment within the last year
Orientation information:
– 3 consecutive days of classroom training (offered Mon – Wed every other week), followed by a single on unit training shift scheduled individually.
Additional information:
– EMR : Cerner – Training done during orientation
– Separation period: 9 months but then determined on a case by case basis
– Scrubs: Any color so long as the top and bottom match
– Parking: There is a cost to park at UMH – day/week/month passes are available and discussed during orientation. Parking at CRMC is free.
– FLOAT: Clinician will be required to float within skillset – areas that they could float to would include but are not limited to tele or ms/tele.
– If your clinician has previously worked at UMHS within the last 18 months, they will not need to reorient
