Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ER
Shift: Mid / 11a-3p start times, 12×3, 36 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- WA License
- 2 full years of true ER experience (any trauma level)
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
- NIHSS
- TNCC
Other Details:
- First-time traveler accepted
- Will be assigned a primary OCED, but the expectation when needed is to float to other OCED sites as needed and primary site may change depending on needs
- Floating: All other OCEDS; CAP – will only float if resident is not there (i.e. sick, in class)
- ED Beds: 10, potential go up to 17. (similar to parkland layout)
- Patient Ratios: 1:4
- Patient Types: Neonates – Geriatrics, 25% Peds, Walk-in traumas, all types of patients ranging from cardiac, neuro, GI, respiratory, psych, frequent drop off GSWs; Will have to provide care to intubated patients will provide training for ventilator and bipap as there are no RT’s onsite, RN’s manage vent/bipap
