Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ER / MedSurg / Swing Bed Unit
Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12×3, 36 hrs/week, EOW, rotating holidays
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- ND license
- 2 years experience
- Understanding of dementia, stroke, skin care geriatric patient care
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
Other Details:
- Charting System: EPIC
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Dementia, dependent older adults, diabetes, rehab/restorative care post acute illness, IV medication, fluid and blood administration, COVID, wounds, initial care of trauma patients in the ER, exacerbation of chronic illnesses, Geriatric population, general rehab post-surgery
- # of Beds: 25
- Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:8. Utilize team nursing
- First to float
- Floating Requirements: ER / Medsurg Support
- Radius Rule: 50 miles
