Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Labor & Delivery
Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week, EOW as needed
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- WA license
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Independent IV starts and lab draws from IV start, accurate vaginal exams, provide labor support, fetal monitor strip interpretation according to NICHD guidelines, strong ability to multi-task, communicate, comfortable with asking questions, and easily adapts to a new unit
- BLS
- NRP
- ACLS
Other details:
- EMR: Cerner & Fetalink
- About 200 # of deliveries a month
- L&D floats to Mother Baby. Mother Baby floats off the unit if needed.
Patient Types:
- Antepartum, Laboring, post-partum. We have a level 3 NICU so take patients that require a higher level of care.
Patient Ratios:
- Labor: 1:1-2 (dependent on stage of labor and acuity)
- Mother Baby: 1:3 couplets (dependent on patient acuity)
Units: 4TH Labor Delivery
