Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Certified CVOR Tech

Shift: Days / 6;45a-5:15p, 10×4, 40 hours per week

Length: 14 weeks

Call/Weekend requirements: 10-15 shifts including weekends-Saturday and Sunday 7a-7a. There are no regularly scheduled cases on weekends, just weekend call rotation

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year CVOR experience
  • Ability to Circulate, conscious sedation, level I Trauma, scrubbing experience
  • BLS 
  • NBSTSA

Other Details:

  • Average Daily Cases: 25
  • 13 bed Operating Room
  • Float: To Sister Hospital OR as helping hands
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: CVOR experience of at least 1 year required, first time traveler okay

PATIENT POPULATION: 13 bed Operating Room. Services provided are: CVOR, General, Robotic, Urology, Eye, Neuro-Spine, Plastics, Gynecology, ECT ; CABG, pericardial window, thoracotomy, lobectomy
Average Daily Cases: 25
REQUIRED CERTS/SKILLS: NBSTSA, BLS, Ability to Circulate, conscious sedation, level I Trauma, scrubbing experience, Preferred-ACLS

FLOATING: To Sister Hospital OR as helping hands if needed
CALL: Call/Weekend requirements: 10-15 shifts including weekends-Saturday and Sunday 7a-7a. There are no regularly scheduled cases on weekends, just weekend call rotation

WEEKENDS: see call

HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
