Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – CVICU

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks 

Requirements:

  • CA license
  • Must have 2 Years Experience
  • Must have CVICU experience
  • A-lines and phlebotomy, PICC Lines, Chest Tubes, Vents, Tele, IV Start
  • BLS
  • Pulmonary Artery Lines, ICP preferred
  • BSN preferred
Other Details:
  • Patient Population: Cardiac, Neuro, General, Stroke, Medical, Surgical, kidney, Liver solid organ transplant, Trauma – please list all the areas of expertise for the RNs
  • Locals accepted
  • IABP (Intra Aortic Balloon Pump), Swan Ganz, Epicardial Pacing Wire
MUST HAVE CVICU EXPERIENCE WITH BELOW EQUIPMENT:

IABP (Intra Aortic Balloon Pump)
Swan Ganz
Epicardial Pacing Wire

Required:

A-lines and phlebotomy HARD STOP

PICC Lines

Vents, Tele, IV Start

ACLS, BCLS, NIH

PATIENT POPULATION: Cardiac, Neuro, General, Stroke, Medical, Surgical, kidney, Liver solid organ transplant, Trauma – please list all the areas of expertise for the RNs

SCHEDULE:
– 4-week schedule will be sent to the RN two weeks ahead of time.
– NO blocked or self-scheduling.
– RN will receive a phone call 2 hrs before shift letting RN know which facility they will be working that shift.

CVICU

Cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) travel nurse jobs provide care to acutely ill patients who are recovery from cardiothoracic (CTICU) conditions or events, such as open heart surgery, AAA repairs and CABC. A CVICU travel nurse must be capable of administering care on a full spectrum, from clinical tasks such as medical history analysis and diagnostic testing, to personal care such as counseling patients and family regarding home-care and wellness. Overall, the CVICU nurse treats some of the most acutely ill patients in the hospital, and must do so safely and compassionately.
