Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Medical Lab Technician

Shift: Mid / 5p-5a, 12×3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

  • 2 Years’ Experience
  • Micro & Blood Bank experience
  • Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or closely related field (Biology, Chemistry, etc.).
  • Current certification as a MT, MLS or MLT is preferred, certification eligible, or military laboratory training
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be AMT or ASCP certified
  • BCLS
  • MT preferred – will consider very experienced MLT
  • 3-5 years experience strongly preferred

2 YRS EXP REQ – MUST BE AMT OR ASCP CERTIFIED – MICRO/BLOOD BANK EXP REQ

**WILL TRAIN ON DAY SHIFT – Must be willing to train 4×10 day shift beginning at 8am for the first week of assignment**

Shift: Nights 3x12s – 5p-5a Wed-Fri Block

MT preferred – will consider very experienced MLT
2 years required, 3-5 yrs exp strongly preferred
Micro & Blood Bank experience required
AMT or ASCP cert

Duties/skills: Precisely and accurately performs and evaluates a variety of technical procedures. Utilizes accepted quality control techniques with the aid of automated, semi-automated, and/or manual methodologies. Performs diagnostic procedures in various laboratory sections (chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, and blood bank). May occasionally collect blood samples from patients of all ages using various collection devices and techniques. May also perform other duties assigned by the Laboratory Director and/or Assistant Director.

Qualifications:
– Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or closely related field (Biology, Chemistry, etc.).
– Current certification as a MT, MLS or MLT is preferred, certification eligible, or military laboratory training.
– Basic computer skills required.
– Must be flexible.
