Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – MRI Tech

Shift: Nights / 6p-6:30a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week

Length: 20 weeks 

Every 3rd weekend; holidays as assigned
Call: 2 weekday shifts per month and 1 weekend call every 11 weeks 

Requirements:

  • OH License 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience for travelers
  • BLS
  • ARRT 
  • Must have experience with Siemens scanners
  • Cardiac Experience is a major plus
  • Experience with IV Starts strongly preferred for this role
Other details:
  • EPIC EMR
  • Must be greater than 100 miles from the most central facility
•Position: MRI Technologist
•Shift: 3×12’s Nights (1800-0630); every 3rd weekend; holidays as assigned
•Call: 2 weekday shifts per month and 1 weekend call every 11 weeks 

Minimum Requirements (4043):
•Minimum of 2 years of experience for travelers (will review travelers with 1.5yrs is strong Level I/large hospital experience)
•Must have experience with Siemens scanners
•ARRT – American Registry or Radiologic Technologists or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
•BLS Certification
•Cardiac Experience is a major plus
•Experience with IV Starts strongly preferred for this role

Facility Info: Unit has (2) 1.5T Siemen’s Aera scanners. We perform neuro, MSK and abdominal scans. “Specialty” exams include breasts, enterography and patients with pacemakers. We do not perform cardiac, prostate, CSF flow studies or MSA extremities. We have an MRI safe ventilator (stored in ICU) & an MRI safe IVAC along with MRI safe monitoring equipment. ICU patients are scanned regularly. We do not perform conscious sedation. EPIC EMR, charcoal grey scrubs.
