Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Cath Lab
Shift: Days / 8a-4:30p, 8×5, 40 hrs per week, Mon-Fri
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend : 1 to 2 weekends per month
On-call- will need to take call 1 to 2 weekends per month
Requirements:
- SC /compact license
- At least 1 year with Cath Lab and EP experience
- EP experience (can monitor, pace and burn), Circulate , Cath Lab Experience to include PCI, Shockwave, CSI, Impella Insertion, and Ballon Pump
- BLS
- ACLS
- Scrub, Circulate, and Monitor in all cases, Tilt table study experience, Cardioversion, Vascular Experience (Carotid and Peripheral), PFA and Watchman experience preferred
- Charting: Epic, MAC Lab
Other Details:
- The traveler will float to EP as needed
- First-timers accepted: Yes, as long as they have Cath Lab and EP experience
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Travelers must live within 30 mins or less from the facility to respond as expected when on call for STEMIs. This should be considered when procuring housing
About the Position
Position/Specialty: Cath Lab RN
Shift: 5x8s, Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm
Weekend REQ: 1 to 2 weekends per month
Is on-call REQ? (Y/N): Yes, will need to take call 1 to 2 weekends per month
Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities? The traveler will float to EP as needed
Required/Preferred
Years of experience REQ: At least 1 year with Cath Lab and EP experience
First-timers accepted: Yes, as long as they have Cath Lab and EP experience
License REQ: SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
Certs REQ (MUSC only accepts American Heart Association (AHA)): BLS, ACLS
Required Exp: EP experience (can monitor, pace and burn), Circulate , Cath Lab Experience to include PCI, Shockwave, CSI, Impella Insertion, and Ballon Pump
Preferred Exp: Scrub, Circulate, and Monitor in all cases, Tilt table study experience, Cardioversion, Vascular Experience (Carotid and Peripheral), PFA and Watchman experience
