Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Cath Lab

Shift: Days / 7a-4:30p, 9×4, 36hrs per week, Every 3rd weekend

Length: 11 weeks

Call Requirements: 10 call days/month

Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays

Requirements:

  • GA or Compact license
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS

Other Details:

  • 1st Timers are accepted
  • Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
  • General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Circulate procedures, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring
  • Floating: Not specified but always a possibility to float to sister campus
  • Ratio / Census: 3 Rooms with 5 Beds; Average daily census of 8-10
  • Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
Shift hours will be 4×9 from 7:00-16:30.

Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted

Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics

Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS

General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Circulate procedures, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring

Ratio / Census: 3 Rooms with 5 Beds; Average daily census of 8-10

Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR

Scrub Color: Provided by the facility

RTO: MAX 7 days

Weekends: Every third weekend

Call Requirements: 10 call days/month

Independence Day: Thursday, July 4
Labor Day: Monday, September 2
Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29
Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25

Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
