Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Medical Surgical Float
Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week
Length: 8 weeks
Willing to work Fri, Sat, Sun
Requirements:
- GA License
- 2 years experience
- Need to be very experienced Med/Surg RNs who can take any kind of Med/Surg patient i.e post-stroke, medical, post-surgery, ortho, neuro, etc.
- Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Manage of dysrhythmias *Both are preferred, Phlebotomy
- BLS
Other Details:
- 1st timers okay
- Medication System: Omnicell
- Documentation System: EPIC
- No local travelers, must live outside of 50 miles
- Float required as needed to the below units (RN will only take patients within their scope of practice): ER holding, Postpartum, Step down
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

Patient Diagnoses:
-Med/Surg; – The med-surg travelers will be in a general med-surg float pool and will float to where needed within med-surg. We do provide patient care to all med-surg type patients including general surgery and ortho/neuro post op.
Special Procedures/Unit Details:
-Need to be very experienced Med/Surg RNs who can take any kind of Med/Surg patient i.e post-stroke, medical, post-surgery, ortho, neuro, etc. Our main need is for the weekend so if you can find anyone willing to work Fri, Sat, Sun, that is even better. Otherwise it will be a strict every other weekend schedule, no exceptions, and we cannot guarantee block scheduling unless they want to work every weekend.

-10 hour shifts – incrementally up to 10 hours per 2 week period
-12 hour shifts – incrementally up to 12 hours per 2 week period
Guaranteed Hours
-8 Rule: 40.00 hours per 1 week
-10 Rule: 40.00 hours per 1 week

-3, 12 hour shifts – 36 hours
-4, 12 hour shifts – 48 hours
