Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – OR Tech – First Assist

Shift: Variable D/E, 8×5, 10×4, 40 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks

On Call REQ: Call coverage for OB and OR with the coverage of:
5 weekdays and 2 weekends. A weekend will be 1–24-hour shift either on a Saturday or Sunday

Requirements:
  • 2 years experience required
  • Electronic Documentation required
  • Community Hospital Experience required
  • NBSTSA
  • BLS
  • Previous Charge Experience Preferred
  • Trauma Level II Experience preferred
Other Details:
  • Local within 50 Miles: SEE AM
  • First-timers accepted (depending on experience)
OR Surgical Tech First Assist – 40HRS D/E
WILL TAKE DECEMBER START ON: 12/16
Shift: 5×8 or 4/10 Day/Mid Shift
Local Rate within 50 Miles: SEE AM

Certs REQ: NBSTSA and BLS

Surgical First Assist Skills Req: Suturing all wound layers including muscle and fascia, Tying/ligating clamped vessels or tissues, Wound dressing; liquid or spray occlusive

Professional Knowledge and Skills REQ: Instrument Processing, Isolation Precautions, Laser Safety, Sterilization/Disinfection
Previous Charge Experience Preferred***

Work Setting Skills Req: Acute Inpatient OR, CVOR, Outpatient OR

Surgery Case Skill Req: Endo/Laparoscopic, ENT, General, Gyn, Ortho, Ortho/Spine, Ortho/Total joints, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics, Urology, Vascular

On Call REQ: Call coverage for OB and OR with the coverage of:
