Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele 48’s

Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12×4, 48 hrs per week, will also consider 36 hrs, EOW

Length: 13 + weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays

Requirements:

  • NC license
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience
  • Skills: IV Start, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias
  • BLS
  • NIH
  • ACLS preferred

Other Details:

  • UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
  • Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
  • Target Ratios: 1:5/6
  • Floating required as needed to other Med/Surg units
  • Traveler experience: Unit will accept 1st time travelers
  • Travelers will be required to take COVID patients if necessary. No team members are exempt from taking a COVID patient with the exception of pregnant team members
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

JOB DETAILS:

Unit will accept contracts from 13 + weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!
36 or 48 hours can be offered. If Accepting 48 Hours, No OT until billed until after 48 hours.
Shift: 12HR NIGHTS; 18:45 – 07:15
RTO: 7 days MAX for Aya Auto Offer
Float Requirement: Floating required as needed to other Med/Surg units.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
Travelers will be required to take COVID patients if necessary. No team members are exempt from taking a COVID patient with the exception of pregnant team members.
PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
Variable med-surg unit with focus on cardiac and neurology services. Stroke certified, hip and knee certified, colorectal cancer certified, ERAS, general surgical patients, occasional GYN surgeries, hospice, cardiac services, pre and post cath, tele neurology, oncology.
UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
SCHEDULING TYPE: Unit schedules
UNIT ORIENTATION: 2, 12hr shifts. Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
SCRUBS: Any combination of navy and white.

Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
