Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Cath Lab Tech 

Shift: Days, 7a-5:30p 10×4, 40hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Call Requirement: 8 Week days and 2 Weekends in a 6 week period. Occasionally More

Weekend Requirement: Yes, 2 Weekends per 6 week period.

Requirements:

  • 1 Years Experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • CCI RCIS
  • Scrub, Monitor, EKG skills required
  • Cardiac Cath lab Procedure experience required: Hemodynamic monitoring, Left & Right heart catheterization, PTCA & Temporary Pace Maker
  • Electrophysiology Studies experience required: Cardioversion, Insertion/Programming of AICDS & Pacemaker Insertion
  • Abdominal& Pelvic Experience required: Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement & Stent placement
  • Genitourinary Studies/Procedures Experience required: Renal Artery & Ureteral Stent Placement
  • Neurological Studies/Procedures Experience required: Stent placement & Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy
  • Vascular Studies/Procedures Experience required: TIPS, Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Dialysis Graft Creation/Revision, Dialysis Graft Interventions, Endovascular Interventions & Upper & Lower Extremity Angiography
  • PROCEDURAL Responsibilities Experience- REQUIRED: Accurate monitoring, Perform EKG lead placement & Scrub-maintain sterile field & Peripherals
  •  Room Circulator, IV Starts/Mac Lab preferrred

JOB DETAILS:
RATIOS: Days (1:4-6) and Nights/Weekends (1:3).
SHIFT: *40 Hours Can Be Offered
Will Accept 13 Weeks!
10 HOUR DAYS; 07:00 – 17:30
***RTO: 7 days MAX for 13 Week Aya Auto Offer***
Call Requirement: 8 Week days and 2 Weekends in a 6 week period. Occasionally More.
Christmas Eve call coverage REQUIRED. From end of shift 12/24 to 7:00am 12/25.
Float Requirement: As needed, including to nearby Rowan Medical Center if needed. Traveler must be flexible to float.
Weekend Requirement: Yes, 2 Weekends per 6 week period.

PATIENT POPULATION: Adults and Geriatrics

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Cardiac Cath, Interventions, STEMI, Peripheral vascular. EP to include inserts and change outs, EKOS, Clotriever, balloon pump, vascular CSI, Hawk one. thrombectomy. Scrubbing and monitoring EPIC and Mac Lab systems. Siemens Artis 1 x-ray system.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: EKOS and CSI.

UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR, Mac Lab Experience

SCHEDULING TYPE: Self Scheduled but balanced by unit leadership to fill unit needs.
