Travel Nurse (RN) – Tele/Stepdown (Telemetry/PCU) – Salem, Virginia – 897417

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU 3E

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW or 4 weekend shifts

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• VA RN License
• 2 years experience
• Must have PCU experience
• Must have Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and surgical patients
• Must have Chest tube management, epidurals
• BLS
• ACLS

Other details:

• Float areas: ICU taking PCU type patients, PCU, Med-surg (taking 5 patients)
• Number of Beds – 15 beds
• Number of Staff – 22 (RN/PCT)
• Patient Ratios – 4-5/1
• Type of equipment –  Cardiac Telemetry, Chest tubes, Cardiac drips(NTG, Cardizem, Amiodarone), Post Cath Patients, post-surgical patients to include open heart, lung patients, general surgery patients, post op orthopedic patients that require cardiac monitoring
• EMR – Meditech
• Scrub Color/Attire –  Navy or white, can mix or match
