Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU 3 West

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a (12×3) 36 hours per week

Length: 13 weeks

Scheduled for every other weekends and 1- 2 peak holidays

Requirements:

  • TX License
  • 2+ years of ICU experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • 5+ years of ICU experience
  • IABP, CRRT, cardiac, heart and/or lung transplant ICU experience

Other Details:

  • EMR – Meditech
  • Floating Area(s): Critical care, ED, and/or intermediate care areas (PCU/IMU)
  • Number of Beds – 23 beds
  • Patient Ratios – 1:2
  • Type of equipment – Basic critical care equipment, to include, but not limited to, IABP, CRRT
  • Candidates be trained on CVICU devices to support CV cases
Scrub Color/Attire –  Navy blue scrubs

Intensive care unit travel nurse jobs, otherwise known as critical care unit (CCU) travel nurse jobs, specialize in providing care to the most acutely ill patients in the hospital. An ICU travel nurse might work in ICU burn unit, abdominal transplant acute care, neuro ICU, post-op, surgical ICU (SICU), trauma ICU or cardiovascular ICU (CVICU). Critical care nurses may also care for age-specific patients in the pediatric ICU (PICU) or neonatal ICU (NICU).
