Shift: Variable Days / 8×5, 40hrs per week

Length: 13 Weeks

Mon/Wed 9:30a-7p (9 hours), Tues/Thur 8a-4:30p (8 hours), Fri 9a-3:30p (6 hours)

No call or float required

• General Skills Experience Required: Home Exercise Programs, Lifting and Transfer, Patient Family Education, Safety and Injury Prevention, Billing
• Assessment Experience Skills Required: AROM/AAROM/PROM, Assistive Devices, Body Mechanics, Identifying Environmental
• Documentation Experience Required: Assessment, Discharge, Evaluation, Long Term Goals, Plan of Care, Reassessments, Short Term Goals, Time Management
• Equipment and Devices Experience Skills Required: Crutches, Gait Belt, Rolling Walker, Standard Walker
• Orthopedics Experience Skills Required: Ankle Sprains, Cervicalgia, Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD), Degenerative Joint Disease (DJD), Elbow Injuries/Tendinopathy, Extremity Mobilization, Frozen Shoulder, Gait Training, Hand Injuries/Tendinopathy, Hip Fractures/Injuries, Knee Injuries/Tendinopathy, Low Back Pain, Lumbar Traction, Osteoarthritis, Post Op Cervical Surgery, Post Op Shoulder Repair, Post Op Spinal Surgery, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Sciatica, Spinal Conditions, Spinal Mobilization, Taping, Total Hip Replacement, Total Knee Replacement
• Modalities Skills Required: Cervical Traction, Cryotherapy, E-Stim, Iontophoresis, Lumbar Traction, Moist Heat, TENS, Ultrasound
• Manual Therapy
• BLS
• Supported Units Experience Skills Required: Geriatrics, Orthopedics, Sport Medicine, Oncology (preferred)
• Barriers, Pain Assessment, Skin Integrity, Strength Testing, Vital Signs, Adaptive Devices & Sensory Response (proffered)
• Hand Therapy preferred

Other Details:

• Unit Accepts first-time Traveler: Yes, Only with previous ortho experience
