Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MedSurg/Tele – 4B

Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW/Holiday rotation, no on-call

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • IL RN License
  • Minimum 2+ years experience
  • Perform phlebotomy required
  • Need to be able to read and interpret strips
  • AHA BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
Other details:
  • Float Requirements: Float to Med/Surg if needed. May be floated to other units and tasked as an aid for additional support
  • No new travelers – at least one completed contract required
  • Charting Experience: Meditech preferred – mandatory Meditech training must be done in compliance
  • COVID BOOSTER Vaccination is required unless medical/religious declination is applicable. Declination must be approved by committee prior to start date
  • Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio):  24 bed   1:7 patient ratio
  • Scrub Colors: Royal Blue
