Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Endoscopy
Shift: Days / 8:30a-7p, 10×4, 40hrs per week, Call Shifts: 1-2 weekend/holiday shifts per month
Length:
If needed 7:30a-6p with notification
Requirements:
- WA License
- 2 Years Experience
- EPIC experience is a huge
- Hardstop- sedation experience
- BLS, ACLS
- Conscious sedation certification highly preferred
RN / Endoscopy – Hardstop- sedation experience required, conscious sedation certification highly preferred
Start date: 12/4 Wed due to Endo orientation
Shift;: 4×10 Days (0830-1900); if needed 0730-1800 with notification
Call Shifts: 1-2 weekend/holiday shifts per month
Tele is Required** Must be Proficient in Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, **there will be a test**
Travel nurse must be experienced and comfortable in all 3 areas/ float required
Tech experience is REQ
Ratios: Intake area Nurse to patient ratio 1:1
Sedation area Nurse to patient ratio 1:1
Post Procedure area Nurse to patient ratio 1:2
**CRNA’s are available for patients requiring MAC sedation**
Years of experience REQ: 2 years in acute hospital required with ICU background highly preferred; REDIRECT if no conscious or procedural sedation
First-timers accepted: NO HARDSTOP
Weekend REQ: 1 weekend per month as a call shift
Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS
Is on-call REQ? 1-2 weekend/holiday per month
Open to accommodating block schedule? NO

Pending License accepted: No, but compact accepted
Guaranteed Hours: Facility can call off 1 shift per 2 week pay period
Special Requirements: Float required within endoscopy procedural and pre/post area
Procedural assistance:
Assist with biopsies, irrigations, dilation, decompression tubes, Banding of Varices, Electrosurgical units / ERBE (portable) (electrical coagulation instrument), Hold scope, Position Patient for Procedure, Procedure set up, Secure bite block, Suction oral secretions, Utilize appropriate PPE, Foreign body removal and equipment
Cleaning and care of scopes and instruments:
Colonoscopes, EGD scopes, Enteroscopes, High-Level Disinfection (HLD)
