Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Med/Surg

Shift: Nights  / 5:30p-6:15a (12×3) 36 hours per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend required, typically every other but depends on needs
Holiday required

Requirements:

  • OR License
  • 3 years experience
  • Require 2.5 years of nursing experience, first 6 months do not count
  • Must have EPIC experience
  • Must have skills general surgery experience required
  • Required to titrate drips, insulin
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Trauma Level: 3
  • Total joint experience preferred but not required
Other Details:
  • Charting System: Epic Systems Corporation – EpicCare Inpatient – EMR
  • Floating Requirements no, but if skill set allows and RN is agreeable, then we may ask them to float to MS
  • Ratios yes, 7-8
  • Common titratable &/or set rate drips Insulin
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients Total Joints, general surgeries, gyn surgeries, general medical patients including CVA, PNA, CHF, ETOH, end of life care, COVID, etc
Scrub Color/Dress Code no, just clean and professional
