Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – SICU – 4G 48’s

Shift: Variable D/N, 7a-7:30p, 7p-7:30a, 12×4, 48hrs per week, Will also accept 36’s, EOW, holidays as needed

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • DC License 
  • 2 Years Minimum Experience Required
  • Must have 1 prior travel assignment
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH
  • Skills Required: SICU, Teaching Hospital
  • Neuro ICU preferred
  • Skills Preferred: Pulmonary Artery Lines , IV Starts and Phlebotomy

Other Details:

  • Charting: Cerner
  • Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler
  • Local Radius: 60 miles
  • Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
  • Ratio: 1:2
  • Special Equipment: CRRT, Bolt, and EVD
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – No Exemptions

3×12 D/N 36HRS or 48HRS

No Call Requirements (Rotating A/P, D/E, D/N – unless specified Night Shift), 36 or 48hrs, EOW, holidays as needed)

Intensive care unit travel nurse jobs, otherwise known as critical care unit (CCU) travel nurse jobs, specialize in providing care to the most acutely ill patients in the hospital. An ICU travel nurse might work in ICU burn unit, abdominal transplant acute care, neuro ICU, post-op, surgical ICU (SICU), trauma ICU or cardiovascular ICU (CVICU). Critical care nurses may also care for age-specific patients in the pediatric ICU (PICU) or neonatal ICU (NICU). Aside from clinical care such as skills with ventilators and tracheostomy tubes, travel ICU nurse jobs need a RN who can deliver progress updates and support to patients and/or their family.
